被動語態

The Passive Voice

被動語態，隨著時態（tense）以及語體（aspect）的不同，而有多種變化型態。例如有過去被動式（had been P.P.）、過去進行被動式（was being P.P.）等。每種形式所強調的「目的」不同。例如本堂課中我們所學會兩種： 現在完成被動 - The internet has been designed to take advantage of this desire for novelty by showing you more novelty than you can ever dream of.，強調某事項已經被完成。 現在進行被動 - We are being targeted by corporations seeking to take advantage of us and make a profit.，強調某事項正在被執行中。
